The tour starts opposite the entrance of the Berliner Philharmonie, Herbert-von-Karajan-Stra\u00dfe 1 and ends inside the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, Cora-Berliner-Stra\u00dfe 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will need an mp3 player or a mobile phone that can access the internet as well as VERY IMPORTANT, a pair of headphones. Do not listen to the walk via speakers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is preferable to download the audiowalk in advance, just click on \u201cBuy Digital Album\u201d and enter 0 or a donation of your choice which will be used for the advancement of the project. Alternatively you can also stream the tracks while you walk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can take the walk at any day of the week and at any time. Please note that not all parts of the tour may be lighted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The audio walk consists of eight tracks. The corresponding starting point of each track is marked in green on the map.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to have the full experience, you should not skip any of the tracks. If it gets too strenuous or too hard, or if you want to stay longer in one place, you can of course take a break at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accessibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The entire tour takes about 80 minutes. The time to walk the route unaided is around 30-40 minutes and there are plenty of opportunities to rest on benches along the way, weather permitting. Check the weather forecast and possibly bring a waterproof seat cushion or plastic bag for the benches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tour is suitable for wheelchair users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last stop, the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, is also wheelchair accessible. The memorial foundation’s website states: “The Field of Stelae can be traversed by wheelchair. It has 13 marked axes of entry whose slope angle is 8% maximum. They are marked with specially grooved paving stones and floor pictograms (wheelchair symbol) on the border to the public sidewalk.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
